Análisis (en inglés) - :
Part of its magazine companion series, {^Mojo Presents...An Introduction to the Isley Brothers} is a solid if predictable collection of 17 tunes from the long-lived {\soul} unit that focuses primarily on the 1970s. (Perhaps it should have been retitled to reflect this as well.) That said, everything here is terrific. Thankfully the producers thought to include both parts of {&"For the Love of You,"} {&"That Lady,"} {&"Fight the Power,"} {&"Footsteps in the Dark,"} and {&"The Pride."} Elsewhere, you get {&"Harvest for the World,"} a reading of {&"Hello It's Me,"} and the band's brilliant version of {$Stephen Stills}' {&"Love the One You're With."} One unexpected treat was the inclusion of {&"Voyage to Atlantis,"} which seldom appears on {$Isleys} compilations. In all, this is a good intro to a band at its peak, but it's far from a complete presentation of their evolution and staying power. ~ Thom Jurek, All Music Guide
