- fast cars
I got the limited edition with the dvd and the book, and the cd comes with the 12th song 'fast cars'. So unless the versions are different, there is no reason to buy the japaneese import, unless you want it all.

- SD Russell, you are mistaken.
One listen of the first 1-20 seconds of "Fast Cars" lets you know clearly why it's a b-side.
It is not one of U2's best songs, filler if anything... the same droning chorus over and over: not a song you'll look forward to and easily the least desirable song on the entire CD hands down.
If I didn't know better (which I don't) I'd say SD is sitting on a load of these and wants to try to sell them at an outragious markup.

- YOU MUST GET THIS IMPORT VERSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Any U2 fan worth his or her salt MUST get this version for the inclusion of "Fast Cars," which is simply the greatest U2 song ever, ever better then "One," "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" or "I Threw a Brick Through a Window." It is also the perfect ending to the magical experience that is listening to How to Dismantle An Atomic Bomb. This song puts Bono and co. in the ranks of messers Bach, Mozart, and L/M (that's Lennon/McCartney!) So what if you have to pay a little bit extra! The hours of enjoyment you'll get from playing Fast Cars over and over will pay for itself after the first week Listen to me...GET THIS IMPORT DO NOT GET THE AMERICAN VERSION!!! THAT MEANS YOU FOOL!!!
